Happy 7th Birthday Brendan!

My Little Man is not so little anymore........but he sure is handsome!

The first picture is of Brendan with his new Gamera movie, which he was super excited to open! I told him he was probably the ONLY boy in the UP to have that movie, hell, he's probably the only person in Michigan! For some reason I don't see a huge demand for Gamera movies !) We all sat down and watched it yesterday afternoon--I thought it was a really good movie. This one is definately more like the original one in regards to it being geered more for children. I'm sure we'll watch it again today.

Remember that he wanted a hedgehog? Well, he really wanted his 'own' pet. My Mom came up with the idea of fish, so that is what we did. He loves them and names are Tad, Sonic, & Froggie. (And here I thought he'd name them something like Gamera, Godzilla, & Rhodan!)

He really had a good birthday party and loves all his gifts. (Others include a new DS game & weather station from Gramma & Grandpa AND a Lego Star Wars shirt, comfy pants, & fish stuff from Aunt Jackie & Uncle Jeff.)

I think today we are going to set up the weather station in his room. Another thing I want to do is finish watching The Empire Strikes Back so we can move onto Return of the Jedi. Yep, Star Wars has always been a favorite of mine, so I really don't mind watching them over and over again with the boys!
