Hot Damn! It doesn't look that bad!

Never would I consider myself artistic or creative (I think I'm more on the lines of Homer Simpson: "Less artsy, more fartsy"), but as most Moms do, I feel we all do the best we can. This time I had to figure out how to do a Sonic cake. As Yoda would say, "A cake decorator You are not", but I'm pretty impressed with my skills this time. What do you think???

I have yet to show it to Brendan, but the big reveal will be this evening. Although his actual birthday isn't until Sunday, we are celebrating tonight since Jackie and the kids are here. I took in his treat for the class--finger jello--and we all sang him happy birthday. His teacher made him a green shiny crown that said "Happy Birthday Brendan!" and he wore it all day long.

I will probably post more pics of his birthday celebration later tonight. He won't be getting the pet hedgehog that he is asking for, but I think he will be thrilled with the substitute.
