Updating from school today. Yep, it has begun and I'm already over-scheduled and lacking sleep. Best news all week? That my PEDS class will be all online except for exams, which will be on campus. Since PEDS is my only Monday class, I will no longer have to drive to campus that day! Monday mornings will now consist of getting the boys out the door for school, making a cup of coffee, and then logging in to listen to my teacher do her lecture via the web. It is awesome! School in jammies! Only driving to campus 4 days a week!

Clinicals will be in Sault, Ontario. Just makes my drive about 15 minutes longer, but that does not include bridge back-ups. (Which are incredibly long at times!) We FINALLY got the schedule for the semester and OB clinicals the first half of the semester, PEDS clinicals the second half. I really think OB is where my passion lies, so I am excited for this semester. You can see the terrified looks on some other students faces, but me, I find everything about pregnancy/delivery fascinating. My long-term goal is still to go on in my education to be a lactation consultant and if I really love it, perhaps midwife??? But now I'm really talking crazy cause first I have to make it through this semester!

Frigid. But I hear from you 'downstaters' that it is equally frigid there as well. -26 was the lowest it got this morning on my drive over. -15 in Paradise when I left this morning after 6am.

I did type that I left the house at 6am. And it is after 5pm and I am still on campus. My last class of the day is set to end at 10pm. Add to that my drive time and just kill me, will you? It will be even better on those weeks that I have 7am clinicals on Thursdays! Go me!

The husband has been gone since Sunday. He and Joe and others attended the Metallica concert last night. Ryan is pretty geeked about the Metallica guitar pic. He scrambled to find it after it was thrown off stage. Me jealous? Yeah, just a bit. I'll get over it in a year or so, I'm sure.

Maybe I'll go read me some textbooks..........
