Traffic. Today I am seeing a lot of traffic headed south. And know what? I'm happy about that. The tourist traffic will be almost nonexistant after today. It will begin again once the hunters start coming north and then again once the snow flies and the sleds will start running.
Today is the Mackinac Bridge Walk. I haven't done it for many years. I brought it up to the boys yesterday, thinking there was no way they would want to do it. And to my surprise, they wanted to drive down to St Ignace to walk it! I thought about doing it, but then thought better of it. Maybe next year when they are each a year older. Its a 5 mile walk and I don't want to have to carry any of them so once I feel that they can walk the distance themselves, we'll do it as a family.
Perhaps I'll post more later.
