Tuesday Today

  • Filing away important paperwork that has piled up over time here and there.
  • Finally closing out B & A's saving account in a financial institution downstate. Figure I'd do it now since we've been up here for 2 years already! Nothing like rushing it, eh?
  • Getting my school binders together which involves putting paper in, printing any class info (Syllabus) that is up on blackboard already, labeling. Yes, I'm anal and proud of it.
  • Getting backpacks prepared for B & A's first day of school.
  • Laundry. Always laundry, even after my wonderful hubby did an entire laundry-basket-full yesterday while I was away, there is still laundry to do today. Lovely.
  • Paying Bills
  • Finally mailing Baby Macey's gift. (Thanks Mom!)
  • Coloring my hair. I had thought for a brief few days of actually paying someone to do it, but then I cheaped out and bought box color. Instead I will use part of my birthday money for an hour long facial on Friday. Can. Not. Wait.

So there ya go. My day today. Thursday I have to take Aaron for his immunizations and also a Holter hook-up. That day I also have to stop at the LSSU Campus Shoppe for a few things needed that I am forced to purchase there. (At a highly inflated price, I'm sure.) Friday is my ooh-la-la facial appt AFTER I drop off the holter to the hospital. And somewhere I need to study my skills cause I am tested on them next week. Crap.

On another great topic, my baby is pretty much out of diapers. As I had blogged before, he is currently wearing them only at naptime and bedtime. Once he's out of those, we will use up the pull-up undies that we have lots of. Essentially that means I will not be buying diapers anymore. Did you realize the weight of that statement? For the first time in over 6 years I will not have to buy diapers. That is wonderful but ever so sad at the same time. No diapers to buy, no diapers to change. Even as I smile about it, my heart breaks a little.

Was pretty damn chilly the past 2 morning. Frost in some places. As one drives they can already see leaves are changing. As each new season approaches, I often think THIS season is my favorite, but then the next season begins and I again think THIS season is my favorite. But really, I think Autumn really may be my favorite. The crispness of the air, the leaves changing, the need for a sweatshirt, Halloween is coming.....................and waiting for snow!!!

Breaktime is over. I must get back to my list. Have a good day.

Like the new look of the blog. Threw me for a loop there for a second as I wasn't sure I was on the right page! Reminds me of scrapbooking!

So the coupons I put in the mail for diapers for you won't need to be used?? Oops, maybe you know someone up there who could use them? I can't believe Josh is potty training. Seems like just yesterday he was born. Aaaaah, time is flying.

Love to hear about your analness. I too am getting things ready for the kiddos to head back. Still need a few last minute supplies that I have been putting off. Ugh.
