Howdy

As today is rainy one, my kids are having a tv marathon. The big boys are upstairs having a Transformer cartoon marathon and Baby J is down here having a Spongebob marathon.


Me? I'm trying to get a few things done here and there. Yesterday I had the boys try on school clothes. Something amazing has happened. Brendan has more than enough pants this year. Whoa. That is a first. Thank you to hand-me-downs and slimmer-than-normal pull-on pants & those clearance clothes I bought at the end of season last year. Awesome. Aaron needs me to exchange the pants I bought him for a different size and then he is done for clothes.

Later.........it is totally icky outside. In between periods of light rain, we get heat and humidity. Ick. Ick. Ick. I suppose it wouldn't have been so bad but we were in the midst of a mean game of tag so the running around didn't help. But the yummy freezepop did :)

Just found out the other day that the teacher for K & 1st grade has taken another job downstate closer to her family. Its not a surprise, but it just throws us for a little loop so close to the first day of school. I'm just hoping that we get someone as nice as Amy is!

Ick. I'm sweating in this gross humidity just typing.

I don't know how my postings will be in the next few weeks. I have lots to do and little time left. Before classes start I have to "re-learn" the skills I learned last semester so I don't look like a dufus once class starts. Have to drag out all my old skills check-offs and read up on some things to refresh. I also need to take Aaron for a couple appointments next week. Just thinking about all the crap I need to do is making my heart flutter and making me cranky cause I feel so unprepared. And yet here I sit typing away.............
