The Sun is Shinging. The Water is calm.

Yep, he came back. Yesterday, myself and my 2 helpers (A & J) cleaned up all the mess left from the bear. We salvaged what we could and filled those feeders back with seed. Then in the evening I brought in the 2 feeders that are in perfect condition and left out 1 feeder (that is being held together by twince), with little seed, just to see if the bear came back again. And yes, he did. Still no messing with the hummingbird feeders though. This morning I walked all around to follow his tracks to see where he comes from and where he goes to and then took out the feeders for the birds. I swear the birds are all sitting on the ground and staring at the house just waiting for the feeders to be brought out. Tonight no feeders will be left outside. We'll be bringing them all in and waiting a few days before we keep them out all night. Hoping that the weather warms a tad so the bears' natural foods will start flourishing so they can stay where they are safe from humans. See, there is a reason we can't have a compost bin here!

Got Brendan out & on the bus this morning. Today is his end of the year field trip. They are going to a putt-putt golf & activity park in the Soo. I sent him with his sack lunch and sunscreen (per his teacher's request). It was quite cold this early morning but is supposed to warm to the low 60's this afternoon. Nice weather for what they have planned today. I just can't believe that this school year is about over. I think it flew by for him. He already has some anxiety over next year, as his friends must be telling him how hard 1st grade is. This morning while waiting for the bus he said, "Mom, I'm scared about 1st grade. They give you hard stuff to do!" I told him we'd handle everything together next year when it happens and over the summer we will work on "stuff" so he won't be so worried about it. After today, he only has Friday to go and he is done, done, done. Except for Saturday, when he will be graduating! I'll post pictures of that for sure! (Which reminds me, I have to get supplies to make him his Graduation Cake or something. And some little gift to give him so he feels ultra-special.........)

Caved yesterday afternoon and gave Ryan his Fathers Day present a few weeks early. He has been wanting Guitar Hero for a long time and his wish was fulfilled! He was so excited to finally get to play it. I went to bed and he stayed up playing it till his hands were cramping at midnight. I was just so happy cause it was nice to finally give him a "fun" gift. But I have learned that I pretty much suck at it........I'll have to practice while he is at work!

Bye-Bye for now.
