In about 2 hours Jackie & Jeff will be the proud parents of a little girl! My Mom is staying at their condo with Nicholas. I'm hoping that I can at least get a camera phone picture from Jeff so I can post that for all to see. SUPER EXCITED to see her and in a couple weeks, I will be able to head downstate to meet her for the 1st time!
No signs of the bear this morning, but then again, he had no seed to eat--which means no feeders to destroy which is our evidence of it being here. I will continue to bring in the feeders at night and in a few days, try leaving them out all night again. Currently I think there must be an eagle or another animal out there that is scaring the birds off, cause I don't see one bird around. I've looked all around but don't see the hunter, but I'm sure there is one out there cause all of its prey are in hiding!
Yesterday I got a lot done around here. Did ALL the laundry, changed my sheets, payed bills, filled out my passport paperwork & got that all set to go, filled out another long pile of paperwork that needed to be done, played Wii, took the trash to the dump, mailed letters & picked up the mail from the Post Office, went to the library to return & donate books, and that was all before Ryan came home! I felt so accomplished. Last night I even got in a good workout again.
Top Chef last night was awesome! Let me just say that both the hubby & I were in shock when they announced who was going home. WHAT? Although I feel that person is not who will win the prize, I still felt that person is better than who the judges let stay. Unless one of the other 3 really screw up next week, this person HAS GOT TO GO HOME! The top 3 are for sure my top 3--the person I picked as Top Chef from week 2 is still there so I am happy about that.
Just a quick note: did anyone really need this White house Guy to write a book to tell us that the war was based on propaganda? I didn't realize there were any people left out there who thought that ANY government of ours is truthful? And how big of a bombshell is it that Hurricane Katrina was a disaster for the Bush presidency? Seriously? And yet our news keeps reporting this as a top story. But then again, what should I expect when another BIG story that I saw was something about Rachael Ray and her clothing choices? Not sure what that was all about, but boy, they were making a big deal about it. I really hate the news. Just remember, when they are pushing what seems to be a lame story a bit too much, there must be something happening that they want to divert our attention away from. It's all about keeping our minds occupied with the stupid so we don't focus on the real.
Birds are back by the dozens. Whatever was on the hunt has moved on. As do I.
