Our Visitor!

For those of you who read Camp Runamuk, you are aware that Aunt Barb & Uncle Dennis were visited by a large black bear a few nights ago. Well, if my thoughts are correct, that same bear was here last night!!! It was one of those nights where Trudie was growling, but not her normal growl. And as I lay in bed, I just had this thought in my head telling me NOT to let the dogs outside tonight. On a normal night when I wake up, I will let the dogs out, but last night I just knew not to do it. Good thing, eh?

And Mom, that new seed that the birds won't touch? The bear didn't touch it either.............

I took some pictures of the tracks but they did not turn out as well as I had hoped. Later, once the boys wake up, I will take them out to track down the tracks to see which way he came and went. I do know he started with the single feeder and walked directly next to the house on the water side cause his tracks are right outside the windows there. I just don't see any tracks going back that way so I wonder if he walked along the woodpile towards the road or what. I will investigate fully later.
