It's Sunday and we skipped Church this morning....

Oh yes, it is getting to that time of year. The time where the weather is cooler. Leaves are changing. Ahh, I love it. It is also coming to that time where we prepare for The Haunted Trail. Ryan is one of those in charge of the preparation this year. He always has these big aspirations as for what he wants his sites to be. He has 2 new sites this year, plus the one from last year. So I think he is totally responsible for 3 sites and then the rest of the preparation. Oh boy. We already have corn stalks drying in the shed.

My kids have so many toys. In our garage are bin after bin after bin of toys. Many that they don't play with, some that are baby toys, and some that are broken. I secretly have been thinning them out this week, but still have far to go. I have a small area in the garage that I have been putting things as "garage sale material" and thought about putting some toys in there as well. The problem is, will I ever actually have a garage sale? I am really tempted to just put a table at the roadside with a big sign that reads, "FREE".........sounds more like my style.

We had my parents over for dinner last night. Paradise Pizza. Mom brought over a chocolate cake. That was my breakfast this morning. And then it was my dessert, after I had reheated pizza for lunch. Now that sounds like a winner diet, right?

I think my plans for the evening will be the following:
  • Get things ready for the boys' school tomorrow. Including getting the clothes out that they will wear (which I still don't know why I bother, because 50% of the time, they go choose something else in the morning anyway) and then packing lunches.
  • Organizing my School Board paperwork.
  • Watch another episode of The Tudors. (Have you watched that yet? If not, you should. I love history shows. Granted, this is made for entertainment, so many parts of the show are not based on facts, but it still is really good.)

I posted a comment on your last post. Did you ever get it? Glad to see you are blogging again. I'm trying to get Renee to start up again as well.
