So yes, I am lame and haven't posted on here for ages and ages. But hey, many of you are my facebook friends, so you know what I've been up to. For those of you who are not, here is a quick update:
I GRADUATED from Lake State! I PASSED my NCLEX! I am now an RN at the hospital in the Soo. Orientation is over and I'm working on my own. I am lucky that the other RN's are very helpful and don't mind helping me when needed.
So there. That is what has been happening.
Last night we had one heck of a windy one. Our tomatoe plants are blown over and the bird feeded came crashing down on a pepper plant and squashed it. There are a few branches blown down, nothing too major. A birch tree in the woods next to the driveway is down. But we never lost power. Some people north of town did, but we didn't. Weird.
This morning when I woke up it was 46 degrees. I love it. This means that my favorite season is upon us--Autumn! The leaves here in this area are changing very quickly. How fabulous. Now that it is getting cooler and less buggy, we plan on doing some more geocaches.
Currently reading the latest Stephanie Plum book, Sizzling Sixteen. Not sure if I can get into these books much longer. They kind of repeat over and over. If it wasn't for Ranger, I think I would have stopped long ago. And Morelli. Yep. They make me smile. I have another book checked out from the library to read after this one. Love that I have the time to read again. Been missing the simple joys of reading a book.
Keep warm & cozy today. That's what I plan to do.

Glad to see that you are back to blogging. I was about to remove your link from my blog roll. I feel the same way about the Stephanie Plum books - they are repetitive. They are thinking about making a movie based upon the books. Who do think should play Stephanie?
