Got some house cleaning done yesterday. Not that it ever lasts. But it did look really nice for awhile. Spent a lot of yesterday and today watching the Twilight Zone marathon on the Sci-Fi channel. Amazingly I saw a few episodes that I actually haven't seen before. I didn't think that was possible!

Had a pretty low key New Years Eve. We all went over to spend the evening with Aunt Barb & Uncle Dennis. Pierce & Kyle are still here so it was nice for all the boys to play together.

Today I was able to store a few boxes up in one of the closets. I have started to take down some Christmas decorations, but am leaving most up until after Jackie's family arrives. We want to keep the tree up so we can put all the presents under it so we can have Christmas with them as well. But I think my plan is to take the tree down on Monday. As much as I love this time of year, after New Years I am always itching to get the tree down and away. Saying that, every year I get a touch depressed thinking of how another year has gone by, how my boys are all growing way too fast, and I just want things to slow down.

I do have at least one bag of clothes to take to the Goodwill store in the Soo next visit over. Once Jackie goes through a bag of cloths to take what she wants, I should have at least 2 bags of clothes to give to my friend. I still need to get into the toy closet and get rid of some of those. I'll wait to do that until the boys are back in school but before I have to go back to school. So much to do and yet I have no time.

Kyle was over here all afternoon. He and my boys play so well together. Pierce was invited over but he's too old for the other boys, so he stayed with his Grandma and Grandpa.

Alrighty, I did not get much sleep last night, so I am hoping that my kids are worn out from a late night last night and playing all day today. Early bedtime for us all? Maybe. I won't hold out too much hope.
