Single digit temps this morning. I figured as much before I even checked cause both floor furnaces were on and the fire was still above 200.

No, the 1-2 feet of snow did not materialize. I'm estimating maybe 6-9 inches total have fallen. If you check the weather the snow is supposed to continue though, with a few inches called for each day. Paradise has already begun grooming the trails so they are ready for the sleds. As of yet I have not seen any sleds locally, but on my way home Wednesday night, there were groups of them on the trails in the Strongs area.

A bit later....I had to stop my posting to get the boys up and out the door for school. We timed it just perfectly, which was great cause being 7 degrees, I'd hate to stand out there too long. After the bus left I was able to get a few pics. Notice how out of focus they seem, I'm not sure if it is my camera being cold or is it due to me shivering?
