Lots of Photos Today!

To begin this post I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my cousin Jim! Miss you and can't wait till you and Kelley can come up and do some fishing!!! Hope you have a great birthday.

Triple overtime? Damn. I only made it to the end of the 1st OT and then off to bed for Brendan & I. Ryan reports that Aaron made it to the end of the 2nd OT (he had a nap earlier in the day) and Ryan made it till the end of the game. He was not a happy man this morning after the loss.

Last night at the local fireman's meeting there was a quick discussion of ticks by a few guys. Ryan was told that the ticks are already bad for some areas around here. I've already been doing "tick checks" when we come in from outside. I guess I need to start checking the dogs when they come in as well. Stupid ticks.

I have finally decided to post the pictures from the Whitefish Township Community School's 2008 Graduation Ceremony. My desire is to put them in a slideshow and post that, but I just don't have the time to do it right now. I will have to play with that when the boys are in bed. My original thought was to videotape the whole thing, but that was not possible. Ryan was at Fire Academy training so it was just me with the boys, making it difficult to use a video camera with Josh on my lap. I'm just happy most of my pics turned out!
I will begin with a photo, although not a good one, of the senior class. I did not get a pic of the 8th grade grads, but there were only 2 students in all in that class.

Here is a photo of the 2008 Kindergarten Class. A few of you may remember that in the beginning of the year, there were 2 girls and 1 boy in the class. One of those girls quit coming to school, but another family moved in making Brendan's class a total of 3 again. So this pic is of Tommissa, Brendan, & Charlie.

Brendan posing by himself and then with his friend Liam. After the ceremony was over, Liam came home with us. His Mom was helping set up for the community graduation party so Liam came with us so he wouldn't be bored.

Brendan is getting his diploma from his teacher, Miss Wheaton. He turned and posed for pics perfectly with the goofiest (yet cutest) smile on his face which made the whole crowd laugh. It was great.

My favorite pics are these of Brendan & Tommissa. These two have been great friends since they first met before preschool started when we moved up here. It doesn't hurt that the two of them are hams either.......

So there you have it. We did not go to the community grad party, but I did stop up there when I dropped Liam off. And yes, I think the whole town was there. It was packed with people. If I would have brought my camera I would have taken pics of the Community Center because they did an awesome job decorating. This town really pulss together sometimes.

Looks like another gorgeous day today. I would prefer a bit of wind to keep the mosquitoes down though. Perhaps we will hang out at the beach like yesterday. I can still rake the other side of the beach since I only did one side yesterday. Rain is in our forecast for the rest of the week so we may as well get out while we can.

Time for breakfast for me and the boys.
