Time is going fast this week......

Today we did something that was long overdue: got Aaron a haircut. The boy had a mop of hair on his head. The boy hates his haircut. It was never an issue downstate, but then again, he had the same lady cutting his hair since he turned one. But we moved here, and it was hell. Besides the hell of taking him to get his hair done, we have never found someone here that gives a good boys haircut, Ryan would try at home, which sounded like he was torturing Aaron from all the screaming and crying Aaron would do. So today we tried something new. The Barber. I've been telling the boys for 3 days that today would be haircut day as to prepare them. It was success. All 3 boys had a haircut and there were no tears. No screaming. No big scenes. Aaron fussed a little cause he was scared and nervous, but once the guy got going, he calmed down. It was amazing. So incredibly pleased with the barber. The boys look so handsome! In 6 weeks we will once again be headed to The Captain's Quarters for haircuts.

My goal of getting my hair cut? Well, that is on hold till possibly next week or the week after. Just don't have the time right now. I have pretty much decided to have my bangs cut back in though...............I think my forehead is too large to not cover it up with bangs.

Conferences were today for Brendan. The news is all good. He is doing great on everything--he is either right where he should be, or in most cases, ahead of where he should be. That is something that all parents love to hear. Awesome.

Several inches of snow today. It makes everything so pretty. I was king of hoping for one more blizzard this year, but I don't think it is going to happen. Still, we have lots of snow so I am happy.

This time of Spring Break is going way too fast. Tuesday I was out the door by 8:30am headed to the Soo all by myself. I power shopped for 3 hours and then was off for a pharmacology study session at a friend's house. All my Easter shopping is completed and even got 99% of Joshie's birthday stuff bought. Sweet.

Plans for next week (besides school stuff):

1. Dentist appt for both the big boys. Cleanings and exams for both. In addition, Brendan's first permanent tooth is coming up behind the other two, which are not loose at all. We want to see if this is a wait and see thing or if extraction is going to be necessary.
2. Haircut for me. Please.
3. Take Joshua for his pictures. Yes I know that was on my list to do for THIS week........

I'm off to start my pharm stuff.
