Little Bear with a fever

The house smells today of delicious galobki. Huh you say?!? That is what I said when I tried to figure out how to spell gwumpkie. Apparently gwumpkie is actually spelled galobki in polish. (I found one to two other spellings, but this one was the predominant one.) Weird. Regardless of how its spelled, it smells yummy. I have had a craving since Aunt Barb made some the other day so I had Mom pick up the cabbage and I made some this morning. We are already waiting for Brendan to walk in the door from school, pinch his nose, and say, "EEEEWWWW! What is that smell????"

Kept Aaron home from preschool today due to a pretty nasty cough and runny nose. You know he is sick because when I made him bacon this morning, he ate one piece. ONLY one piece for a kid who normally gobbles it up. He now has a fever. Ryan, Brendan, & Joshua all have the same sickness but no fevers. Mom and I have so far, stayed healthy.

Off to snuggle with Aaron. He recently asked me, "Mom, is it bedtime yet?" I asked why he wanted to know and he replied, "cause I want to go to bed." Yep. He's sick alright.
