Let's see what is going on.......I'm pissed cause I can't figure out YouTube. I have 2 short videos I want to post. One is 1 minute and the other is like 1 minute 30 seconds. But both are apparently over the 100MB limit. (123 MB and 143MB or something close to that.) My problem is this: how do I change my videos so I can upload to YouTube? They are videos taken on or digital camera. I am sure Ryan would know how to do it, but he isn't here right now.
I have done both presentations. My first one, which I did in 1 day, was a horrific experience, but since it was so lame, it only lasted less than 5 minutes. Yet my teacher graded it at 22 out of 25 points, which is an 88%. I personally feel she was more than generous with that grade as I thought it was terrible and would have graded myself no higher than a C. But yet again, I am a perfectionist when it comes to schoolwork. My second presentation (same professor, different class) was last night. This presentation I worked on for a couple weeks on and off. I thought it was good and was graded 40 out of 40. That I feel is appropriate.
Exams are Monday and Tuesday. Multicultural Nursing on Monday where Pathophysiology and Nursing Informatics on Tuesday. I can guarantee that I will study my behind off for patho, where the other two will get a small fraction of study time. Than a few weeks vacation from classes. Call it the calm before the storm. Once classes starting January, my postings may be few and far between.
We could use some snow. There has been no accumulation for about a week. I would be happy if we were hit with a good storm this weekend. Start Friday night and let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Got a call from Aunt Barb this morning. She told us to keep an eye out on the ice cause there was a coyote or wolf headed our way. About 5 -10 minutes later we spotted it. Couldn't tell if it was a coyote or wolf cause it was not close enough for a perfect ID. But, what I can say is that it was dark grey, and all the coyotes I have seen have been more of a buff color or a lighter brown. Yet it held its tail low more like a coyote. My head says it was most likely a coyote, but in my desire to see a wolf so close, I'd love to think it was a wolf.
Ryan and I went to the comedy club on Friday night in Brimley (at the casino). It was pretty fun. Beers were cheap. As is gambling at the penny slots. They have different comics every Friday and tickets are only $5, which is always a bonus.
Still not done Christmas shopping. Still have to buy for the same people I had to buy for last post. My goal is to get that all done tonight and tomorrow night after class. Must.get.done.
Oh--Forgot to write about the 2007 Paradise Kids Klub Christmas Performance. It was Sunday night at the Methodist Church. The kids did a great job. It was so much fun to watch them all sing and dance to the songs. (That is the video that I am trying to upload to YouTube.) Aaron did not perform in front of the church cause he is just too shy. (But he did sing all the songs from his seat.) At intermission, we all went downstairs for a meal and family crafts. Then back upstairs for more songs from the kids. The entire thing was really well done and really nice. Brendan has his school Christmas program on the 18th. I hope to know how to post videos by then!
Check out Alida's site to see Kyle Joe in his suit and tie. How the hell she got that kid to wear that I have no idea. I can pretty much guarantee that my kids would have pulled off that tie instantly and said NO WAY to the suit jacket. But look at Kyle, isn't he adorable? He is just so damn cute. He knows how to use that cuteness, too---he looks at you with those big eyes and just makes this face that you pretty much would refuse him nothing.
Hey Blondie--yes, Jackie is pregnant. Cool, eh?
And its now time to get back to other things. Good day.
