Christmas Photo 2007
This is as close to sending out Christmas cards that I will come. Time just got away from me, so I will use this blog as my virtual card this year.
Sorry about the delay in posting, but I have been busy with school, studying for exams, and misc. holiday preparations. But the good news is that I have most everything done! My last exams were on Tuesday so I now have several weeks off from classes. Hooray! Final grades are A's. The 4.0 continues for its most likely last semester. Its all downhill from here folks.
Yesterday my parents took Brendan and Aaron to the Soo with them to get some shopping done. I took that opportunity to wrap Ryan's gifts while Josh was awake, and wrapped the gifts for the boys after I put Josh down for his nap. I then wrapped in the evening after putting the boys to bed. Now this morning I am wrapping the final few extras and guess what--DONE WRAPPING! Love it. The only thing left to do is stuff the stockings, which I normally don't do until a day or two before Christmas Eve anyway.
Today both Brendan and Aaron have their Christmas parties. Its pajama day for Brendan so he is super excited about that. His teacher plans to read them The Polar Express. For Aaron its Christmas videos and snacks. I went in the morning to pass out teacher gifts, which was nice. A bit later this morning Josh and I will head back to the school to go to Aaron's preschool party. The rumor is that Santa will arrive and that he also has a gift for Joshie in his bag of goodies.
Tuesday night was Paradise's Christmas Program. Brendan's K-1-2 class, along with the 3-4-5 class, performed several songs which were really cute. (Total students on stage: 23. And yes, that means total students, from K to 5th grades.) Brendan just loved it up there in front of everyone. He sang so loud that at times you could hear him over everyone else. Santa made an appearance there as well. Although Brendan was telling everyone how that Santa was fake and NOT the real one. I am pretty sure Brendan knows its all a sham. He was the same way last year, its like he knows there is no Santa, but just hasn't admitted it yet. No big deal to me, as I have never been a big supporter of Santa anyway. I have to agree with Jen, he gets WAY too much credit.
I'm a bit bummed about our weather these past few days. Temps into the 30's, which is slowly melting our ice and snow. That makes the driveways a mess--the inches of snow are warming, not to mush, but just enough to make driving thru difficult. I got stuck in it the other day. yep. Stuck. In my own driveway. My Dad had to get me unstuck by using cat litter. I was afraid I'd get stuck in the school's driveway today. There is good weather supposed to be coming our way by Sunday. I am still hoping for a blizzard by Christmas.
Today is Ryan's last day of work for a couple weeks. This means we will all be home at the same time! Dad, Mom, Ryan, me, and the boys all home with no where to go. Weird.
That's enough of a post for now. I am sure I will now have time to post more in the next few days. Until then, good day.

That's a perfect Christmas card pic of the boys!! Love the Santa hats on the three of them.
We were watching a dvr'd show last night when all the kids were up, a show that normally plays at 10pm at night. They just totally let the Santa cat out of the bag. Stepehn's head popped up and then down but he didn't say anything. The fat guy may not have much cred at our house after that. I didn't say anything and I'm just waiting it out.
Totally jealous that you will be all wrapped. I'm all done shopping except one last gift. And my wrapping is only a third done. Saturday night is my wrapping night and Sunday is my food prepration day. I'm taking on cream puffs this year for the first time. Wish me luck!!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Great picture of the boys. And congrats on your 4.0.
