Other things to update about:
I rock. Did I mention that I earned a 94% on my Pathophysiology exam? Again-I rock. And I enjoy the class. How many more ways can I describe myself as crazy?
Here is the birth announcement photo of my niece Isabelle. Izzy will for sure be spoiled rotten by her parents and two older brothers!
Our First Annual Girls Secret Meeting was a huge success. The cottage where we stayed (for free) was perfect for us. It was in the small town of Alanson, right on a canal. Pretty cool. Each of us girls accomplished what we went there for: to scrapbook, relax, and spend time with each other. Jennifer and I had not seen each other in over a year. I am no longer a terrible Mom, because Joshua now has at least 15 pages in his scrapbook. (Okay, so I don't have them in a book yet, I don't even own his book yet, but I plan to buy it soon!) We took an afternoon to shop in Petosky and have some dinner and drink big-ass Margaritas. (Thanks to Jen for finishing mine since I suck and she is clearly the better drinker than I!) We thought we had lost Alida for good in the casino, but we found her. Pictures were taken, not all of them flattering, but here are some:

I love the morning shots of us. I think my personal favorite is the one of Alida modeling her feety-jammies.

We had a lot of fun this past weekend and it was hard to say goodbye to them all. We laughed so hard at times over stupid shit and even talked serious about an issue or two. One of the funniest moments was when Jackie, who normally can make an awesome mudslide, decided to try to serve us her ghetto mudslides. (Thanks to Joe for the defective magic bullet blender!) Don't they look yummy?
I personally can't wait until our next Secret Meeting.................
Okay--now it took me awhile to load up this post with all the damn pictures. Since starting this post until now, I had to take Aaron to preschool. and I am shocked to type this: HE GOT HIS PICTURE TAKEN! I will say that his picture isn't the most natural looking pose, as he looks like he is going to try to bolt or cry at any given second, but he stood there like a big boy and got it done! No, it was nothing I said to convince him----it was Gramma, who before we left for school promised him a Lil Kinz if he got his picture taken. I'll be damned, it worked.
