I have one thing that really bothers me. Well, more than ONE thing, but we'll discuss just this one right now. Spelling errors. I hate to misspell a word. I hate reading things and finding spelling errors even more than myself making them. Seriously people, there is a thing called spellcheck right on the computer! I can say all this because I just re-read my last post with about 4 spelling errors in it. Super. In my defense I can claim that they are not really spelling errors as much as they are typing errors. I promise to spellcheck more often.

Yesterday we took a trip to the fair. Holy hell, how did my parents afford the Good Old Days every year???? Everyone had a fun time unless you count my children who thought the farm animals were going to attack at any given moment. Joshua is going to have a long-lasting phobia of pigs, I'm sure of it. I was standing there as my kids were pulling backwards saying, "NO MOM! Let's not go in there! I'm scared!" WTF??? MY kids afraid of farm animals?? How is that possible? We are talking about cows, sheep, goats, pigs, and lots and lots of poultry. To give some credit to my kids they don't have the cows in any pens or anything, they are just tied up to a post, but still, my kids were freaking out. Eventually, with some gentle coaxing, we were able to get them comfortable around them where they would actually go into the various barns to look at them. (Thank goodness cause I would have stayed there all friggen night just to get my boys not afraid of a stinking animal!)

At this point of the day we realized that Brendan was getting too big for the smallest of the kiddie rides. Here is he looking and thinking, "Is this the fastest this thing goes? My JEEP goes faster than this!" I think by next year he will totally be over all the kiddie rides. Poor Aaron will be stuck to go on them all with Joshua.

Today we went out in the water for a bit. I am thinking it may have been one of the last, if not THE last, day were it was warm enough to swim.

I'm off..........
