Ryan's Mom is having some problems post-op. Tomorrow I will be headed out that way to stay with her for the day. Ryan will be working and my Mom will have the boys. I hope she starts feeling better soon because we are all getting a bit concerned over this. I won't feel better until I see her myself tomorrow and can asses the situation.
Hey Norm--you better carry two sets of keys on you at all times now. It sure seems that if you didn't have bad luck that you would have no luck at all. Remember that Seinfeld episode when George gets really smart when he stops having sex............. ;)
Heard Kevin Smith on several interviews this week. Makes me all geeked about seeing Clerks 2. Dante and Randall at a fast-food joint............I'm not even supposed to be here today!
Our house is listed on the net, but so far no pics are posted. My plans of getting the house more-ready to show are now on hold since I am going to help out Ryan's Mom, but it will get done eventually.
So I had my first freecycle experience. Last evening I posted that I had a few cookbooks and old Taste of Home magazines in almost perfect condition, free to anyone interested. I was pretty sure I'd get one or two people, but I got over a dozen! I made arrangements with one particular woman who lived near by, and she picked them all up this evening! LOVE IT! I felt guilty about throwing them out, so I thought I'd give freecycle a try and it worked great. It is great for things that won't sell on ebay and things that you don't just want to throw away. I think I will be finding lots to post once I start getting more things packed away.
Our roof may be a possibility after all. Ryan is trying to pull together a crew to help him out. Nick has graciously volunteered himself and has lots of the tools needed (THANKS NICK!) and Ryan still has a few guys to contact.
Enough for the evening. I really should be cleaning my house and getting ready for tomorrow. Say a quick prayer for my Mother-n-law that she gets better soon!
