A day with my boys

Look at that....................whoa.........that's some crazy stuff..................
Plans changed yet again today, so I was able to spend some time with my boys. We spent the morning at my Moms house and then back here to work and play outside all afternoon until dinner. I planted my flowers and boy are they pretty! After dinner the boys had their bath and have requested to watch The Lion King this evening. Start the popcorn!!! Ryan's Mom is still in a lot of pain, among other problems. The decision was to take her into the ER (which she was objecting to), so I am waiting for a call to hear what happened--did she go or no?!? I can't wait until I get myself educated about all the medical mumbo-jumbo. Something Brendan said this afternoon, "When are Pierce and Kyle coming over again? I miss 'em, I like 'em." Norm dropped a case of beer on his foot--yes, the foot he had surgery on years ago after a night also involving beer--and it is pretty swollen and bruised. I am trying to convince him to come to the office on Monday for Dr K to take a look. On the bright side, he said his wrists no longer hurt.............Oh the slippery slope of the law...how many of you remember when the seatbelt law first came into action?? If I am not mistaken, it was not a violoation that they could pull you over on, but if they pulled you over for something else, they could then ticket you for it. Well, now they have seatbelt checkpoints all over the damn place and are giving tickets left and right. Now there is talk of outlawing cellphones AND smoking while driving--in your own car.....again, the slippery slope.
Someone buy our house please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine keeps a blog called “What I Hate”. He is a Libertarian so he is against what he believes are unnecessary rules and regulations imposed by the government. In one of his recent blogs he talks about the seat belt issue. Here is the link. http://notthisguyagain.blogspot.com/2006/05/render-unto-caesar-what-is-caesars-but.html

yea- I remember that seatbelt law. They changed it a few years back where they can pull you over for that alone.
I tell you what got me wearing my seatbelt- watching "Trauma- Life in the ER" on the Discovery channel.
