It was big excitement for the WTFD yesterday evening as the new turnout gear arrived!Here is my Hubby wearing his new turnout gear while showing how old and gross his old turnout gear is. I have no idea how old the 'old' gear was, but the new gear is much lighter in weight, is very clean and shiny, and doesn't smell as ripe (smoky, old, worn, ect) either!
You should see the difference in helmets, too. His old face shield was so scratched and smoked over it was hard for Ryan to see. The new one is clear and scratch-free!
As you can see, Brendan and Aaron got into the excitement of the new gear as well. Goofy guys all around.
Poor Joshua was already asleep by the time his Daddy got home from the fireman's meeting, so I thought I'd post this cute pic of my Little Yooper taken yesterday afternoon. I think the camo clothes, spongebob hat, & red boots are an upcoming fashion trend...............watch for it!

I soooo think that the town of Paradise needs to put together one of those "firemen calendars". How cool would that be...."The Firefighters of Paradise". The internet would go crazy, it would be a selling phenomenon and Ryan could show off his "gear"!!!
