Busy day of getting things done.

School shopping was a success! At least I think it was. We hit the jackpot at JCPenny--and thank goodness because that is the LAST store in the area that I had any hope in finding anything. After all, we only have a Walmart, Kmart, and JCPenny and even those are an hour away! We found Brendan several pair of pull-on pants that he can fit into. Granted most are the "athletic" looking ones, but he was happy and that made me happy. (Plus everything on sale was also a bonus.)

Before we went shopping, I took Brendan to get his hair cut. This was his first haircut not done by his Daddy in months. The woman did a great job, which is also a first for up here since the whole reason Ryan started cutting their hair was that no one seemed able to do a normal little boys haircut. He looks quite handsome. (I am still trying to talk Aaron into getting his haircut, but he still folds his arms, pouts out his lip, and says NO.)

After all that, the family went to Walmart for a few items. A few items turned into MANY items and many dollars later. (Damn you Walmart!) The boys each got a new bike helmet. Why a bike helmet now? Well, yesterday I took the boys up to the Community Center to ride their bikes (on cement) and Brendan promptly biffed it and smacked his noggin on the cement. He now has a pretty nice goose-egg with scabs on his forehead. What a great look for the first days of school. And no, they did not have the cheap non-cartoon-type of helmet, so we had to pop for the more expensive ones with the elbow and knee pads. (Which believe me, I know Brendan needs!) You can't tell in this picture, but his hair is still hiding the other half of his bumped-up head. Oh, and can you guess which helmets they picked??? Transformers!!!!!!!!

We topped off the day by getting one of those $5 pizzas and bread. We actually fed our family of 5 for under $10. It was a thrill just to be able to do that.

Tomorrow is a big day as we head out to the last hoorah of our summer before school starts. It will be a first as we have never been to the Chippewa County Fair before. I plan to have many pictures to post.

My main problem with his take on it is that it kind of ignores the premise of Batman. Mulberry outlet shop This will help you determine what the couple likes, what they dislike, and you'll get an idea of what others are buying so nothing is duplicated..
