A night of beauty

See this?? Is that not a beautiful shot of the moon and its reflection off Lake Superior? For those of you familiar with the area, I took that tonight at the little park near the boat launch, near Taqua Trail. Ryan pulled in and I jumped out and just had to take the shot. I don't really know how to fully use my camera to its abilities, but I like to think that this pic is one of the best I've taken with it.

Saw one of Bald Eagles yesterday, twice; the second time he was being trailed by a seagull or two that were just hoping that it dropped whatever it had in its talons. Then while on a drive yesterday evening, we actaully saw deer! its hard to believe, but we saw a moose up here in Paradise before we ever actually saw a plain ol' white tail!

Ryan took the 2 older boys out on the paddle boat this morning. I have not done a bit of anything today, since I seem to have a baby attached to me all day. Joshua is either going thru a major growth spurt or possibly teething, because all he wants is booby. I can't complain too much, as I decided it was best that I lay upstairs and nurse him while reading a book and looking out the window at the water. Very relaxing, so I enjoyed it knowing full well that school starts this week and I won't have the time to do that much after that.

Aaaaahhhhhh.....it's finally sort of sinking in that we don't have to leave here.
