Purge

It's amazing how much stuff we accumulate over time.  Ryan and I are still going thru boxes from our move to St Ignace.  The goal is to be minimal with what we have.  We will always have bins of holiday stuff, pictures, and items like that.  But the rest we are trying to get rid of. Loads and loads have been donated to the local Goodwill-type shop.  I have been selling some bigger items as well.  Must get rid of it!

Joseph is currently taking out my pots and pans and playing with them.  He is getting big and my house is so not child-proofed.  Well, it is in the way that I have nothing that could harm him in his reach but I don't have those cupboard locks in place anywhere.  Don't think I am going to do that either.  I may get the door-handle guards to keep him out of certain rooms (bathroom) for safety reasons.  (He pulled himself up enough to do a flip into the bathtub the other day....Ryan said he turned his back for a minute while runnning the bath water for Joey's bath, and flip, there he went.  No injuries noted)

Ryan is coming home for lunch again today.  This was a big reason we moved here, to give him the opportunity to come home for lunch.  The days I am home from work we can sit and have a nice lunch together.  Days I do work, he comes home to let Trudie out to go potty.  Works out great.

Have a great day.  Enjoy this beautiful fall weather!
