Jim stopped by this morning before he left for home. Josh was happy to see him, even though it was only for a minute. Josh loves Uncle Jimmy. One of the few people that he seems to feel totally comfortable around within seconds.

Actually watching the Wings game this afternoon. First one of the season I think. What is up with the powder blue uniforms on Pittsburgh? Weird.

We are in the midst of a warm up. Melting snow. Not good. Hate that. Everything gets mushy and dirty. Hoping it gets cold again soon cause you know that our UP winter is not over just yet. We are due for at least one last big snowfall. It was funny though on Friday....it was 32 degrees and I felt that was warm enough to not wear my coat outside. Happens every year!

Currently I am preparing for a brutal exam on Tuesday morning. Our OB Prof is well known for giving exams that are extremely difficult. Last week we took our first peds exam, which I did great on. I say its cause I have 3 kids. Let's hope that giving birth 3 times will help me for my OB exam. We can all hope.

I love my new laptop---a RED Dell, 14.1". On my shopping list is a laptop sleeve to keep it protected in my travels. Just where can I get one locally is the question.

Very busy weekend for snow machines. There seems to be a pretty steady stream of them on the ice out front. They stay very close to shore.........Ya see, people here know that the ice can be dangerous......quite unlike hundreds of ice-fisherman elsewhere.................don't even get me started on that stupidity.

This past week in clinicals I spent 2 days in the NICU. Amazing. Awesome. I honestly thought I would be too afraid to touch babies that tiny. But I gotta tell ya, it was easy. I wasn't nervous. Now, that being said, I only did assessments, feedings, ect. How I would do if I had to start lines or have something bad happen?? Probably a different story all together. When you see babies that tiny you really realize what miracles they are. Something Jen & Renee can both tell you more about..........my two days there I thought about you two a lot. How strong you are for going through that. Now everyone go hug your kids!!

Damn. I have to continue to study.
