since he doesn't know the songs, we just hook up the mic for him and let him think he's actually playing.
Everyone got tons of great gifts. I don't want to list everything on here, but let's just say WOW to everything this year. Thank You so much to my parents for the awesome gifts for all of us. Thanks to Ryan's Mom & Dad for everything as well--we missed you guys this year!
Today my Mom and I drove in bad weather to the Soo to get the bargains. (You can tell we are Yooper Women when we drive in crazy weather and just shrug at it!) Many stores were shopped at. Good thing is that I got teacher gifts set for next year, as well as a few gifts for friends. Nothing like starting early!
Hmmm.........I hope to post some pics soon of our Christmas Eve. It was kind of quiet and laid back, but we had a lot of fun. At one point when the kids were starting to get irritable and stir crazy, I had the idea to go outside to put out some carrots for the reindeer. The snow was really coming down, but we stayed out there and had a lot of fun. This Christmas was much better cause last year we had a 'green' Christmas, and this year was a beautiful white Christmas!
I guess I'm not into the posting this evening. I have pics to post, but think a slide show would be better. Maybe I can work out a link like over at Aftermath cause that always seems to work well. But that is project for tomorrow. Right now I am going to eat a snack and watch the family play GH.
Oh--we are still searching for a name for the 'band'---any suggestions??? If so, leave me a comment!
