Walking in a Winter Wonderland...................
Yep. Its gorgeous here! 12 inches of snow fell between yesterday morning and this morning. The ice is building and we were just watching the otter run across the chunks, dive in water, stick his head out, dunk back in the water, and then pop out onto the chunks of ice again. It is the cutest little thing! I'm not sure if I like watching him roll around on the sand or play in the ice more......either way, we love to watch him/her.
I ended up leaving campus early yesterday and not going to my 4pm class. I was glad I did as I got home before dark and beat some of the snow. Today I have to head back out to the Soo for my last day of clinicals. I'm leaving 2 hours early cause I'm thinking the roads will most likely be bad. More snow is expected over the next couple days so I will be glad to be home to enjoy it.
Thanks to Aunt Barb for staying here with Josh yesterday. Ryan and Uncle Dennis were gone all day and I think both were glad to get home last night. But because of them, Paradise will have some nice Christmas decorations!
I know Kim won't be happy to read this, but damn, this snow sure puts me in the mood for Christmas! And yes, some around here have Christmas decorations up, but you see, if you don't put them up mid-November, its too late..............who wants to do it now with 12 inches of snow on the ground??? Here in our house, I don't think we will do any decorating until we arrive home from downstate for Thanksgiving. Unless I get my tree out early and leave it here for Mom, Dad, Norm, & Dominique to put up!!!!!!!!!!!
Its time that I start getting ready for clinicals.
