Tuesday Afternoon. It looks like rain out there!

After about 5 pics, this was the best one that I took on the day Jackie, Jeff, Nick & Clare were leaving a few weeks ago. One day, when I have lots of time and nothing else to do, I would want to go back and post all the pics of the 4 boys in a slide show.

I also found this really cute shot of Clare. At this point, Joshua was holding her. She seems pretty content, maybe even happy with Joshua. And this third pic looks a bit menacing, don't ya think?? At first glance it seems that Aaron has an evil smile as he is squeezing poor Nicholas, but really its Aaron trying to hug Nick and have their picture taken together.









After much consideration, and the fact that the a/c in our 2006 van isn't working (that rant is for a whole other post), we decided to keep our vacation limited to the cooler temps of the UP. We have no real set plans, just will drive west and stop at all the touristy places we feel like and enjoy Michigan's beautiful scenery the rest of the time. The only requirement is that we stay at a hotel with a "cold pool & a hot pool." (Translated into a heated indoor pool and also a hot tub.) As vacations with kids are always a bit stressful, we will drive till the kids can no longer stand it, then let them tire themselves out in a hotel pool. Sounds like a plan to me!
