Saturday Morning

Today is starting day 2 with this headache. It began yesterday afternoon around 4pm. I really wanted to take my migraine medication, but since I was home alone with the boys I decided against it. I'm a bit afraid of the side effects and still being able to function with the boys. Instead we watched Ratatouille and snuggled on the couch.
But I think I may have figured out a trigger for the headaches: fast food and/or stress. Brendan & I had Wendy's yesterday afternoon. I have not had fast food in quite awhile (eating healthier, remember?) and Ryan thinks my headaches happen once I've eaten fast food. Not every time, but it seems to trigger them sometimes. Other times I'm sure its stress.

While in the Soo yesterday I had an ultrasound of my thyroid. During my physical last week the NP advised me to have it done due to the fact that my left side of the thyroid was enlarged. My labs came out normal so now we wait for US results.

Last night Ryan had his final written exam for Fire Academy Training (1&2). Today he is at his final Practical exam. I have no doubt that he will pass, but he is a bit nervous about the written exam. 200 questions and he said he was burnt out at question 101. Its so exciting that he is done with this program which has been very long and a lot of hard work. He will be an official firefighter on the Whitefish Twp Fire Dept. Congrats Hun!

Not sure what the plans are for today. The boys & I were going to go to the Point for a walk, but it is raining out (again) so we will wait to see if the weather clears. If not, I'm sure it we'll think of something............which means the boys will ask to play the Wii all day long...........silly kids, I want to play the Wii!!!!

An answer to your comment on Sweeps 4 Mom:

I have not won the Jelly Belly Instant Win game myself, but I have heard from several readers that have won it. It isn't necessary to make up a new bean flavor, but I do just for fun. You can just play the instant win game to save time.

Ah.. You and I were suffering together! I had a monster headache yesterday as well! Major stress related here. I too curled up on th couch and watched What Not to Wear. Hope it bites the dust soon.
