Had a busy day in the Soo yesterday with Joshie. I got a haircut and he had his pictures taken. He was an awesome subject and smiled for every picture. As usual, they try to get you to spend a month's pay on pics, but I did really good and stuck to below $30. In a few weeks I will try to post the 2 poses that I chose. And it was a good thing that his pictures were taken yesterday afternoon, as this picture will show you why:
He was running outside, fell, and earned this nice scrape on his melon. Amazingly his hands did not get scraped up (that happened the day before) and somehow his head got the worst of it. Poor little dude. Then for the rest of the night, bad things kept happening to him and he just kept injuring himself. At one point, we decided the only safe place for him was in his crib. I took him upstairs and he climbed on Brendan's (queen sized) bed so I could lay down with him and read him a story. While I was helping Aaron with something, Josh fell off the bed. Not sure how he did it, cause he never falls off the bed, but last night was just rough for him all around.
Yesterday afternoon was the first day of Tee Ball for Brendan & Aaron. This isn't the typical organized league, as Paradise does not have one. If the boys wanted to play on a team, it would have to be in Newberry (60 min away) and then travel to further destinations for more games. So what one Mom did was to talk to other parents to organize games here in town for all kids from Preschool level to 5th grade. I couldn't go as I was still in the Soo, but Ryan said EVERY KID from 5th grade down was there to play. They divided into 2 teams and that was that. Games will be 2 days a week after school from now to the end of the school year. There are times when I just love this town!
Alright, it is time that I wake Brendan for school. I will leave you with this pic from Joshie yesterday as he was wearing "Amma's" glasses and reading her book.
Isn't that the cutest??
