I wanna know who told The New Kids on the Block that the time was right for a reunion. And enough about this pregnant man. Come on, 'he' has a uterus, of course 'he' can have a baby!
Made it up to 50 degrees today. Our snow is quickly melting. Perhaps our 4-6 inches of snow on Tuesday will be our last? You never can tell up here. Speaking of Tuesday's snow.....I got stuck. In my driveway. Too much heavy, wet snow covering about an inch of ice equals no traction. Thanks to my Hubby for pushing me out so I could get to class to take my exam.
And speaking of exams, I was pretty sure I failed both exams I had to take within the past week. The first was on Friday, and I was pretty damn sure that if I didn't fail, that I was awfully close. The second exam was Tuesday in pharmacology and I walked out there confident in the fact that I had failed. Yet I was pleasantly shocked to find out that I got an 84% in Nursing Fundamentals and an 80% in Pharmacology. Normally I would be highly disappointed in a B, but now I am learning that sometimes a B can feel like an A+! However, for the time that I put in studying, that damn B should be an A. And no, I am not blaming myself, cause the high grade in pharm was only an 86%. According to the teacher, 3/4 of the class FAILED the exam. (And the woman who has been a nurse for several years only got an 84%!) Let's just say I am not pleased in how and who teaches that class............
A group of us went out for lunch this afternoon. We all met at the local Italian establishment to celebrate Kelley's birthday. Food was yummy enough and it was nice for us students to unwind for a little bit.
Pretty bummed that I missed Top Chef this week. Gonna have to catch it replayed this weekend. Really hoping Pasta Salad lady got booted cause I just can't let go of that. Call me crazy. It was pleasing when Survivor returned to its normal time slot instead of stupid college basketball. Aren't there enough sports channels on cable that you can stick all those games on? Jeez. Can you tell I'm not a fan??!?!??!
As I sit and type this, the boys and Ryan are watching Spongebob in the other room. Why is that of interest? Well, the one who seems to be enjoying it the most is Ryan as he is giggling constantly. Although, if you know Ryan, that is not surprising you is it? He also took the boys on a day of fun this past week. The 4 of them (while I was in school) went shopping, out to lunch, and to see the Horton movie. I know that is a huge undertaking but he is just the Daddy to handle it.
These next few weeks will be very busy for me school-wise. I just hope I can make it through this last month without pulling my hair out. Fun, fun, fun. Then its time for summer vacation.
Ryan took Brendan to his dental appointment this week. Since his tooth fell out, there was no need for an extraction, just 2 fillings. He goes back in a couple weeks for the rest of the fillings. Damn happy with the dentist overall. Really proud of my son.
My eyes are sleepy. Think there is a need for some super vitamins cause I'm just tired of being tired all the time. As for now, the goal is to get some homework done (Big plans for a Friday night, I know). There is a sneaking suspicion that the goal won't be met and I will just eat some junk food, lay in bed, watch TV. oooooh.........laying in bed, eating junk food, and watching tv. Now THAT sounds like a goal to me!
