Don't have too much time cause I should have my head in my pharm book, but I will update quick about yesterday's weather. In a word: BLIZZARD. Howling winds, blowing snow, COLD< COLD, COLD. How bad was it? US 2 was closed starting yesterday afternoon and was still closed this morning. M-28 was closed from Marquette to Munising. The Mackinac Bridge was CLOSED to ALL traffic for part of the day and other times, even this morning, they were escorting vehicles across. The International Bridge was closed part of the day yesterday. I-75, from M-28 to the International Bridge was closed. The road commission were not even plowing any roads north of M-28. (And yes, that includes us!)
A majority of schools announced closings on Sunday night. I think every school within 150 miles of us cancelled today. That is, except for Whitefish and LSSU. So I got up at 4am and was out the door by 5am to make it to class by 7am. Brendan and Aaron both went to school as planned. And Ryan went to work as normal. Once again proving that when LSSU and Whitefish actually cancel classes, you have to believe its horrible outside. Otherwise, its life as normal.
Below average temps are predicted for the rest of the week. You mean -15 isn't normal??? Although it did warm up by the time I got out of class at 11am............it was only -5.....................
(Oh yeah, that is the actual temp. The temp with windchill is probably, hmmm somewhere around really fucking cold.)
