Things are looking back to normal around here. Christmas decorations are down and the tree is packed away, waiting for the 11 months to go by until we start pulling it all out again. I don't know why, but I always feel a bit sad when I take down the tree. Part of me can't wait to get things put away so life can return to normal, but that part of me hates to end the season. I suppose many people must get like that though, not just me.

Jackie, Jeff, and Nicholas left for home this morning. Its always an emotional time when they leave cause it may not be months till we see them again. With me starting school, I don't see any opportunity for me to travel south and Jackie being pregnant, her time to travel will be limited as well. To my thinking, the next time I see them will be when I travel down when the little one is born. I can't wait to find out what Baby "x" will be. Or in my thinking, will it be Baby "XX" or Baby "XY" ;)

I have big plans for Sunday. BIG PLANS. Closet cleaning time! Yahooooooo! I'm up for it finally. I HAVE to do it, really, cause I can't fit the Christmas things in it the way it is now. It has to be done and done now. Once the semester starts, I won't have a chance till the summer to do it, so I can't wait. Maybe I'll take before and after shots. Yah, that would be cool. I bet you are glued to your seats just waiting for me to post those bad boys.

OOOh, now that Jackie and Jeff are gone, Ryan and I have our bedroom back. Why is that a great thing? Well, tonight we will be using, for the first time, our new sheets. My folks bought us some--get this--700 thread count sheets in a deep plum color. Yeah baby. 700TC. There is nothing like good sheets. This is something I don't think people recognize until they get some and then there is no looking back. So yah, I'm a sheet snob and I am not ashamed.
