Wicked Weather

Can't describe the weather besides saying strong persistent winds. There are gusts, but the wind is constant. It started last night and has not stopped. You should see the waves when they hit the ice wall. Wow. Here are a few pics I took from the doorway this moring. I didn't head outside cause I would have to shovel the huge drift in front of the door to do that. (We did think ahead and brought in a shovel last night so we could shovel our way out of the house!)

A few shots of the drift outside the door. Here is Millie trying to make her way back in the house early this morning. The other shot is our trip to the woodpile. Ryan said he better eat his Wheaties to shovel his was over there! And just a note, Ryan spent lots of time last night using the snow blower on the driveway. Pretty much just as he was done the winds started. Now it looks like he didn't do a darn thing!

Wanted to end this post with this cute picture of Joshua. After being sick for over a week, he is starting to look and feel much like his old self. He is eating again and again is posing for pictures for me. I thought my Mom would like to see him feeling better!
