I mentioned something to Brendan about his Daddy wanting to go hunting soon. I then said that Daddy would probably take Brendan with him one day this season to which Brendan replies, "What? You can't kill a deer! What about its baby?!?!?" I guess he takes after his Mommy and her view of hunting. (Not anti-hunting, but its something I could/would ever do. But saying that, don't get me started about how people "hunt" for bear............)

We had snowfall yesterday. The drive to the Soo was just beautiful with everything having a fresh cover of white. It was gone by our drive home though. Maybe the next wave will stick.

Can I just complain a moment about shoes? My middle son has wide feet. My oldest son has sort-off wide feet. (Thank goodness that Joshua has 2 older brothers so that I have a variety of shoes sizes to select for him!) Downstate this was no problem. Up here it is an awful lot of trouble. I've ordered some shoes online, but the sizes were way off. I spent some time this morning calling stores in Gaylord and Petoskey looking first for wide width shoes for kids, and if they happened to carry them, asking for the sizes that I need. Nope. So I again am trying to order online. I am praying that the sizes that I have ordered this time will fit. Whichever ones don't fit, I will return yet again.

I hope Kelly is feeling better. You had us all worried and we still are thinking about you, so please get better soon!
