It is a cool 10 degrees this morning, with wind chills of holy shit its cold!
There are 3 freighters anchored this morning. I can't help but wonder how cold it is out there.
I am going to try to get to Newberry this morning. The bad weather isn't supposed to start by late morning and I am hoping that I will be back before that. Here is our advisory for today and the weekend:

Sounds fun, right?! We shall see what actually happens. Poor Brendan, who is not a fan of the cold weather, was already complaining about the snow this morning as we were waiting for his bus. He even asked me how long the snow will be here. I, being the great Mom that I am, totally ignored that question and chose to change the subject. How do I tell him that most likely we will still be seeing snow as late as March and April?!?!?!
Wish me luck on my drive today.

I love the pictures of the snow and seeing the water as it's turning to ice. Can't wait to hear about all of your winter wonderland adventures!
And can I tell you that it's a chilly 30 degrees in Detroit today? But it still feels like "holy shit it's cold"!!!
