Waiting for a Winter Wonderland

Looks like the UP is getting ready for the winter snowfall---I noticed snow sticks on M-28 yesterday afternoon!!!! They have not gotten to M-123 yet, but I am thinking that possibly by the end of this week we will be set with snow sticks! It is a goal of mine to actually see them doing this task, as it seems like little fairies come at night and place the sticks when we are all asleep. I also noticed that someone put up a snow fence yesterday. It seems appropriate since we may get a few flurries tonight/early tomorrow. Once the snow sticks are put into the roads and there is the lovely glow of plastic, orange fences, winter can't be that far behind.........

Found out from my source in the Financial Aid dept. that I am in the top 5 for 2 different scholarships!! Yah for me! That means instead of me having a 1 in a million shot at a scholarship, they have narrowed it down to 1 in 5 chance. They are based on GPA so we shall see what happens next.

Went to JoAnns today between classes. Ooooohhhhhh. They have the BEST selection of fleece I have ever seen. It was awesome. I needed to find some to make Joshua a new blankie. The one he has now has been repaired by both me and Gramma and yet its still fading away. After narrowing my choices down, I picked one that I know he will like. Once I get the sewing machine out and finish the blanket, I will post a picture. I do have plans to go back and buy much wanted supplies and also buy many (not)needed things!!!

Oh--I found the Webkinz reindeer today. Bought them. Love them. Christmas gifts? I'm such a dork.

Does anyone really care if Dumbledore is gay? Seriously?? Why is this headline news?

Well, off to do more Pathophysiology note cards.
