Lots to talk about in this post, so I hope you are in for the long haul. The family took a trip to Mackinaw City last week. We started off by stopping at the Garlyn Zoo and then headed cross the bridge to stay 2 nights in a hotel (with a pool). We didn't do much of anything, but enjoy the pool. Great for us, as we couldn't afford to do much besides that. The boys don't care though, they wanted to swim, swim, swim. Brendan was doing really well, even swimming in "the deep end" a lot and practicing going under water. It took Aaron awhile longer to get his courage, but once he did, he was a fish. Joshua, as most times, wanted to go his own way but we did keep him in the pool a lot. Here are a few shots of us on vacation #1:

Vacation #2 was just me and the boys. We spent Thursday thru Sunday at Renee and Greg's "cottage" on Guthrie Lakes. Their home is beautiful! This was a "girls only" weekend with the children. The only people missing were Pam and the kids beacuse they live in Ohio and Pam just had surgery so they could not come and also not there was Michelle and her kids as her sister-n-law was in labor with her first child and Michelle did not want to miss that either! Clsudine is due to have baby#3 in about a month, so this was the last weekend she would be available to come up north. It was great seeing the family and spending so much time with everyone. Many games were played, several walks, and a lot of time in the lake. Here are a few shots of vacation #2:

Currently Jackie, Jeff, & Nicholas are up for the week. Alida, JOe, and the kids are up at Aunt Barb's place. Friday is the start of the Paradise Blueberry Festival (the BIG week here in Paradise). I think more family will be up for the weekend--Ann, Rich, and the girls, Jim, Kelly and Dylan, and also Tom, Mike, and I don't know who else. I am sure a fun time will be had by all. Friday night we plan to have a fire and celebrate Aaron's birthday. (Mine, too cause I will be 21 on Sunday!)

Today Alida, Jackie, and I went to the Soo to have the 3 little ones pictures taken together. Imagine trying to get Miranda, Joshua, and Nicholas all looking and smiling in one photo. Yah, it was impossible. We finally gave up after countless attempts and held the kids. Not a good idea cause the three of us did not look ready for our photo to be taken. I can't wait to post the final picture once we get them back. Our plan is to try to get a picture of the 3 2006 babies together before the weekend is out.

Here are a couple pictures taken so far:
