Weather update and some pictures

This isn't something you EVER see with Joshua. I guess that's what happens when you wake up before 6am.

Tuesday night, none of us could get to sleep cause it was so bloody hot and muggy. Every window open, fans going, sweating just laying still. Now last night, we had on our winter jammies, all the windows closed, and Ryan and I even added an extra blanket to the bed! This morning at 6am it was 36 degrees. I had to check the date to be sure what month I was in. The forecast for today is a pleasant 70 degees. Not the best for swimming, but just a great outside day.

And I bet you are all wondering if I cleaned the couch. yep. It was a work of wonder. The couch looks fantastic, almost new. (Ryan and I were wondering how old that darn couch is. It was Kraig's before it was brought up here. Ryan figures it has to be at least 12 years old.) And I just know you all want to know how dirty the water was......dirty, dirty, dirty. Cool. Love that carpet cleaner!

Here is Aaron. He does not like to pose for pictures that often. He will allow me to do it, but if anyone else wants to take his picture, he bolts behind a leg or some furniture. He's my bear and I love to squeeze him.

The only way I could take Brendan's picture was if his new Transformer was included in the photo. Both he and Aaron did many jobs to earn stars on the star chart to earn the money to buy them. Brendan has really grown up and is asking MANY questions. Yesterday he pops off with, "Mom, how did people get here?" I asked if he meant here in Paradise, but nope, he wanted to know how people got on Earth. That's just one of the many questions he is asking lately.
