My brother-n-law Jeff had his back surgery yesterday, and Jackie reports that he is doing well. He even was able enjoy some cookies and milk after he ate his dinner. The hope is that he will be released home today, which will make Jackie feel much better. We are all hoping that this will alleviate Jeff's pain.
Dad and Ryan just left early this morning to take our couches over to Jackie & Jeff's house. While they are gone, and the boys are still asleep, I am going to start packing more crap. We have lots done, but still have lots to go. I should be doing it all now, but I am typing this as I try to eat a granola bar and drink my tea--breakfast of champions, eh??
Ryan has decided to come and live north with us now, instead of staying here and working for a few weeks. I understand his reasons and will be happy to have him there with us. This will give us a couple weeks to adjust to our new living situation, get things done, and have fun as a family before I start school. I am sure that the paddle boat will get a lot of use!
So to all my friends and family here in the lower peninsula (yes, all of you trolls!)......you will all be missed. I have so many thank yous to say to each one of you for different reasons. This has been a trying 8+ months for us, yet we have learned how many people are out there that care about us. Thank you.
Watch my blog for updates to include pics of where we will be living now and much of the beautiful scenery. And don't forget to make a trip north to visit.............the fall colors will be starting VERY soon!
