Followed Ryan up in the Uhaul Friday afternoon after the closing on our home. Joe, Tom, Mike, Brandon, Scott, and Charlie all helped Dad & Ryan unload it. (Thanks a million guys!) Saturday was a rainy start, then lots of wind, but it turned out to be a great evening. We ventured over to Barb's place for a fire, which was lots of fun. Saw Ann, Rich, and the girls who are in from Virginia. Brendan and Aaron had fun playing with Kyle, Dylan, Matthew, & Pierce. The BEST part of the night, (besides the T-shirts in honor of Uncle Dennis ;)) was that we all were able to watch the NORTHERN LIGHTS!!!! It was the first time seeing them for Ryan and I (Aaron came out to see them as well.) I could not believe we were actually seeing them, it was awesome. Joe was trying to get some good shots, but none turned out all that great. I hope to be able to get some shots of them once we move up here.
We will be heading home either this evening or early in the morning. The plan is to pack the house since the garage and shed are almost completely emptied. Possibly living here full time as early as next week Monday?!?!?!? Feels weird and not yet real.......even though I did get a post office box for us already!
Off to finish getting ready cause I am taking the boys up to the Blueberry Festival to see Grandma as she works at the vendor tent.
Cute thing: Aaron calles it the "blueberry vegetable"
