My Little Baby is 4 months old today! I just can't believe it. It seems like he has always been a part of our family, but its been only 4 months. He is the easiest baby that I have had, very easy going, but seems so serious all the time as well. He rolls himself over to his tummy and loves to eat his toes and suck his thumb (he prefers his left thumb), splashes a ton in his bath, and talks much more than my older boys did at this age. I thank God daily for my family and making Joshie a part of it.
Another test this evening in speech. I think I aced it. My next speech, persuasive, is due next week Thursday. The topic I chose?? Not really positive yet, but I am thinking breastfeeding over formula feeding. Its something I am knowledgeable in, feel strongly about, and I think I can do it. I do fear it will make some feel very uncomfortable, but then again, that is part of what I will make my speech about: That it doesn't and shouldn't be uncomfortable for people.
Not working Wednesday due to a test that is required for Nursing students. Can't study for it, not sure what to expect either. I will just go in thinking that I can do it and hope I pull off a decent "grade."
Ryan is working his new job, helicopter parts. Not auto, so that is a bonus. There is still the fear of layoffs, but we will take what we will get.
Something Brendan just said to me (yes, he should be asleep, but you know how my kids are about bedtime....) "Hey Mom, I like your parents. Your Mom is the best. She gets me kids meals." Funny, not sure why he chose to refer to them as my parents instead of Grandma and Grandpa........I have also noticed that Aaron has been calling my Mom "Gram" a few times. Speaking of bedtimes, it is almost 11pm and both my big boys are still awake. Is that rare? Nope. I just took this photo of them on the couch; my Mom was babysitting them while I was at school and was trying to get them to sleep. As you can see, it didn't work. Ugh, its past my bedtime, yet they are still up.
