What work do I have to do?? Well, there is that little 8-12 minute speech that I haven't yet started. There is also the never-ending housework and laundry to attend to. Instead I have chosen to spend my day (so far) playing outside with the boys. Today seemed like the perfect day for sprinklers and popsicles....and there is always time for me to be the "Super Villian/Monster" and be attacked by Gamara (Brendan) and Danny Phantom(Aaron). It is especially wonderful that Joshie is content with watching us all be crazy from his stroller. Don't you all worry, he does get out from time to time to be the "baby monster" with his Mommy. Yesterday we took a family trip to Lakeside Mall. We rarely ever go to the mall and we thought it was a good idea. Let me tell you, it wasn't. Aaron fell asleep minutes before we got there, and waking him from his nap is never a easy or a good thing. Brendan was fine, and Joshie was just getting cranky and hungry. But we ended the evening on a good note, by getting Outback to-go. Yes, I did get my favorite, Walhala Pasta...........both Ryan and I have left-overs for dinner this evening. Yummy.
Happy Birthday Kyle! Brendan has been trying to call you all day to talk to you! I think today is Dylan's birthday party, so I am sure everyone is having loads of fun there today.
tool tickets went on sale yesterday. Since it is so not in our budget for me to go, I am hoping some wonderful soul will donate them to me or perhaps I can win some tix?? One year I would love to see Maynard, as to me, Maynard James Keenan is a music god with a voice like no other. ALthough, could you really see ME at a tool concert? Who else thinks I would look lametarded with all the "cool" people there??!! Here I roll up in my ultra cool minivan (one day) and step out in my jeans and pink shirt that has baby spew on it. Then I'd be all rockin' out during the show and my nursing bra would come unhinged and out falls my breastpad. Not a good visual is it? Someone would ask me if I'd like a hit and I'd go into some story about throwing up on my arm, losing my dignity, and no thanks cause I have to nurse when I get home.......Again Alida, sorry if I got throw up on your car, but I did give you a great memory. By the time show ends, I would have no voice, be larry-wiggy tired, and start lecturing on how tool was cool YEARS back, ya know, before I had 3 kids and could function on little food and lots of cigarettes. Maybe its best that I don't go..............
