Its over and I nailed it! Had my first speech to give this evening and it went very well. I guess they are right when they say to do something you know.....I did mine on how to cast and how to cut off a cast. My speech and presentation went really well and I had a lots of good questions afterwards, to which I had really good answers! I went in with no notes and was just *hoping* that the MA in me would shine thru, and it worked! My next speech is next week Thursday.....need to start thinking of a topic. (Lisa, your advice really helped me, thanks!)
Spoke to Alida tonight and she is in love with her new minivan. I am glad that she likes it, as I knew she would. You can't have 3 kids and NOT have a minivan...........unless, of course, you are like us and your lease is over and are waiting to purchase anything!
THANKS A MILLION to:
Katie for coming over at 7am today to babysit the boys. We left her here when the boys were all still asleep, so she had to wait around for them to wake up and then hope they didn't freak out because both Mommy and Daddy were gone. But no, they all did great.
Chelsea for relieving Katie so she could go to work.
Emily for coming home with me to help Chelsea while I worked on my things I had to get done today.
Renee for being the girls chauffeur all day and the breakfast/lunch for the boys.
Yes, we had babysitters in shifts today. Today is yet another day that I am thankful for having such wonderful families to depend on. Ryan and I are blessed by both sides of our families. I just hope that one day we will be able to return the favor or repay everyone in some way or another!
Have a great weekend.
