Hope you had a great birthday up there in Paradise!
We spent part of our day looking for a used minivan. Found a few that we are interested in and will pursue more on those later in the week. Then we went to my Mom and Dad's house and enjoyed a good dinner--thanks Mom! Anna was there--she is such a good girl! Norm was there for a bit, then he headed off to see Dominique and watch some movies. (Clerks and X-Men 2--great viewing choices! Clerks is one of the best flicks ever made!)
As I type this, I am sitting here enjoying a few glasses of wine (Joshua is down for the night). Yum. I have not had wine in about a year, I think. What does that mean? Well, it means that after about 2 glasses that I am catching a nice little buzz here! Yes, call me a cheap date.
Alida is still in the hospital due to her fever. Last update I had, she won't be released until at least Sunday afternoon, and that is only if she does not register another fever before then. I won't lie and say that I'm not getting concerned, because I am. Its a bit unsettling when your very best friend is in the hospital. Hope she can go home soon to spend time with her new baby and her boys and her husband that miss her terribly.
I think I may have a new visitor to my blog--Jessica. Hi Jess! I still plan to be able to go out with you guys very soon. I am getting tired of always "hearing" about everyone going out, its about my time to have a turn!
