Painting and pink carpet...and no baby yet...

Ryan did an excellent job in painting Brendan and Aaron's bedroom. It is no longer a "nursery" and is now a "big boy" room. In the pictures it looks like only the bottom half was painted, but he re-painted everything from the ceiling to the walls! We originally were thinking of maybe painting the trim a dark red, but are rethinking that now as we think it looks really classy. Now we finally have to get rid of that pink carpet, but that is not in our budget in the foreseeable future.




Ran into Michelle today at Walmart. She had Riley and Ryan with her and both are so cute! Riley looked very pretty in her dress and hat and seems to really love her little brother. Ryan does look like his Mommy! Brendan later asked me, "Can they come over some day soon to play with me?" So if you guys are up to it, one day we should all get together for a bar*b*que or something.

Mom and Dad sound like they are having a great, relaxing time up in Paradise. I am hoping that Ryan and I can escape up there soon enough. We first have to turn in our leased minivan and buy a used one so we don't have to worry about miles anymore. If anyone has a good lead on a used minivan, drop me a line!

Aaron has come down with something. Whether its allergies or maybe a head cold, we shall see. Poor kid is sneezing and dealing with a terribly runny nose since the middle of the night.

Alida is still pregnant and losing her patience...........
